M-CSF 也稱為 CSF-1，是一種四α螺旋束細胞因子，是巨噬細胞存活、增殖和分化的主要調(diào)節(jié)劑 。M-CSF 蛋白對于破骨細胞祖細胞的存活和增殖也至關(guān)重要。M-CSF 還可啟動和增強巨噬細胞對腫瘤細胞和微生物的殺傷，調(diào)節(jié)巨噬細胞釋放細胞因子和其他炎癥調(diào)節(jié)劑，并刺激胞飲作用 。
